Who is Pinkie?
Pinkie is a regular tractor, just better dressed.

She is a Kioti CK30, an easy-to-manage tractor with four-wheel-drive and a front-end loader.  She is more than capable of handling daily tasks that this small apple farm in Peru, Indiana, is able to offer.

Pinkie came to fruition after a garden event was held at McClure's Orchard last Spring.  Paige McClure and Lyle Woods, of Off-Duty Ranch, decided she needed a tractor for chores around the place.  She sat on a similar Kioti CK30 bright orange in color, and asked Lyle, 'Can you paint it pink?'

A couple of months later...

Paige first saw the tractor, July of 2009, her eyes swelled with tears.  She couldn't help but think of her mom, who passed of breast cancer in April of 2005, and how much she would have loved this tractor.  Paige then decided to have the words 'faith', 'hope' and 'In Memory of My Mom' soften the hardness of the metal.

Since, the tractor has come to mean many things for many folks.  People sharing their stories, through those only can we be saved.
